The ultimate hot weather adventure fabric, Polartec Delta features radiating knit structures that channel perspiration and increase airflow, working synergistically to enhance the body’s natural cooling process. It’s perfect for those days when a regular shirt is just too hot (or even indoor training when sweat management is key).
More specifically, Polartec Delta’s hydrophilic yarn is knit in a radiator matrix creating channels that retain perspiration to maximize evaporative cooling next to skin, with raised panels of hydrophobic yarn in the middle of the channels to enable airflow. The resulting fabric construction functions like a swamp cooler, providing true metabolic cooling and never sticking to you, no matter how hot it gets.
