Main Story. 11. 23.
This winter Reusch has brought out two new technical gloves, one being inspired by the world’s fastest freerider, both using Polartec® technology.
For 2021/2022, Reusch is launching two new gloves: the LLEON R-TEX® XT glove built for freeriders and the Garhwal Hybrid TOUCH-TEC™ for outdoor use. Both use the latest Polartec technology to deliver excellent protection on the mountains this winter.
For freeriders, the LLEON R-TEX® XT glove has it all. It has been inspired by professional freeskier, Jérémie Heitz, arguably the world’s fastest freerider. Using Polartec® Alpha® this glove will deliver the right amount of warmth on fast downhill runs, adapting to increased exertion on hard-won climbs, so preventing hands from becoming hot and clammy. Alpha active insulation was originally invented for the US Special Forces and the stop-start conditions of combat. It’s perfect for activities that encounter extreme temperature variations because it’s been engineered for consistent warmth, while allowing greater breathability during activity. The glove was created to mark the launch of the film “La Liste Eveything Or Nothing” (LLEON) by Sherpas Cinema Productions. For more information on the features of the glove, see the video here.
The Reusch GARHWAL HYBRID TOUCH-TEX™ glove is the perfect outdoor all-rounder. It comprises a hybrid three-layer and single-layer construction. The palm uses a comfortable, stretchy Polartec® Power Dry® fabric. Used for exceptional moisture management, Polartec Power Dry uses a proprietary bi-component knit construction ensuring every fibre works with maximum efficiency. Moisture is quickly pulled away from the hands and transferred to the outer surface where it evaporates. An insulated, windproof softshell backhand protects from the elements.
