MAAP’s new autumn/winter range of “Alt_Road” cycle clothing has been through the mill. Its testing regime has taken the apparel on gravel tracks, open roads, through dirt and grit. The result? A road cycling range that is versatile whatever the road surface.

Durable and hard wearing, the new Alt_Road collection has used Polartec® fabric technology to meet its goals. Polartec’s sustainability ethos and science DNA make it the perfect partner for its range of thermal jackets, vests, and odour resistant tees. Polartec® Alpha® is a real hit with the cycling community. Its ability to deliver on-the-go-warmth makes it an ideal partner on intense climbs and fast downhills. Alpha eliminates the need for layer shedding as its unique construction, which is woven around a stable core, enables air to enter and exit the fabric, keeping the rider’s temperature stable and reduce the need to remove layers.

Polartec® Power Dry® has been used in MAAP’s Alt_Road range of long and short sleeve shirts. This fabric delivers a high standard of next-to-skin moisture management. Polartec Power Dry is lightweight, highly breathable and provides superior protection from moisture and odour.
