Available in two iterations, the VTBeanie WND features a combination of two Polartec fabric technologies - Polartec Windbloc and Polartec Power Grid. Polartec Power Grid, making up the body of the hat, is engineered to optimize temperature regulation and breathability, while reducing overall fabric mass. Polartec's patented grid construction creates targeted touch points for wicking and open channels that increase airflow to enhance thermoregulation. Polartec Windbloc, featured around the ears, is a highly durable unique polyurethane membrane that is both windproof and water repellent while still offering breathability and resilient stretch.
The VTBeanie Q-Air is made from Polartec Power Air, a revolutionary knit fabric construction. It offers advanced thermal efficiency, regulating core body temperature and encapsulating lofted fibers within a multilayer, continuous yarn fabric construction. Seen as the next generation of fleece, Power Air is the first fabric technology engineered to reduce fiber shedding five times less than other premium ‘mid-layer’ weight fabrics.
