Japanese trail running and lifestyle brand, Mountain Martial Arts (MMA), has launched the ultimate street to summit tee using recycled Polartec® Power Dry®. It’s called the Border T-shirt and its name says it all. As the brand says, “from city runs to summer mountain climbing, overseas trail running, and everyday wear. It's a T-shirt that you want to own in different colors".
The brand’s Border T-shirts are a staple of everyday wear. The technology built into Polartec® Power Dry® ensures that the wearer is kept dry whatever their activity. This is the most advanced, next-to-skin moisture management fabric on the market. It uses Polartec’s proprietary bi-component knit construction which positions hydrophilic fibers close to the skin so that they can quickly pull moisture away from the body and transfer to the outer surface of hydrophobic fibers for faster evaporation during activity whether that’s on the street or in the mountains.
Yuichi Shibui, director of MMA, started his trail running journey in 2010. By 2012 MMA was established, creating original gear and clothing based around function and design. Border T-shirts are a staple of everyday wear, sporting a versatile design that uses French casual/marine styling which ‘crosses borders’ as the design is so versatile. Once launched the product immediately sold out.
