For the true fire breathers, this leaves little room for superficial frills. That’s why this month’s featured partner, NOBULL, puts performance and durability before gimmicks in their footwear, apparel, and accessories designed for people who train hard and don’t believe in excuses.

Let’s take a closer look at how 2019 Apex Award-winner NOBULL uses the Science of Fabric through a full suite of Polartec technologies.
First up is Polartec® Power Air™, the first fabric ever engineered to minimize microfiber shedding. But even that wasn’t enough for NOBULL who had us modify the fabric to provide even greater moisture wicking capability for use in sweat-inducing training environments.
The Quilted Crew Pullover is the first garment to place the fabric’s trademark bubbles on the outside for an eye-catching aesthetic that’s ready for years of punishing wear. And this should go without saying, but the bubbles are 0% bull.
Those air pockets enhance durability and ensure a longer lifespan for the garment by trapping internal yarns to reduce microfiber shedding by at least 5x. The encapsulated fibers boost body-heat retention to warm more efficiently than high-pile fleece. We’ve also added advanced wicking capability to the fabric unique to NOBULL, making the Quilted Crew Pullover truly one-of-a-kind.
NOBULL’s Performance Zip-Up Hoodie delivers maximum comfort thanks to Polartec® Power Dry® fabric. A perfect layer for colder, outdoor workouts because it wicks sweat and moves with you through a wide range of cross-training exercises. It’s a durable addition to your gym kit that will keep you warm without the weight for years to come.
Power Dry wicks sweat so effectively because its bi-component construction has a hydrophilic interior that pulls moisture away from the skin and transfers it out to the quick-drying outer layer. Continuous evaporation prevents saturation and regulates temperature in both hot and cold conditions.
The Arctic Pullover Hoodie is designed with Polartec® Wind Pro®, an advanced fleece developed to resist more than just the cold. This hoodie will provide versatile comfort that stands up to any climate, while still breathing to keep you dry through your reps.
How can a pullover do all that? Wind Pro features a compact knit surface structure for up to 4x greater wind resistance than regular synthetic fleece. This added brawn deflects the elements without sacrificing breathability and thermal air pockets retain the warmth needed from an insulation layer.
NOBULL chose Polartec® Power Shield® Pro to create an ideal training jacket to keep you weather-protected and comfortable even while sweaty on the way home from your workout. The Softshell Jacket benefits from the unprecedented breathability of the world's first true softshell, so that swampy waterproof shell feeling is a thing of the past.
Available in both men’s and women’s cuts, this jacket is built with the world’s first electrospun membrane fabric. Power Shield Pro’s resilient 3-layer design features this advanced microporous membrane that releases excess heat and moisture vapor. The resilient exterior layer stands up to abrasions, and the next-to-skin layer is specially chosen for soft comfort from the first rep to the last.
