In recent years, Mine77 became Jake’s foremost way of expressing his passion for developing product while listening, collaborating, and continually incorporating the feedback of others. The result is a very personal collection that’s been thoroughly tested, refined and dialed by Jake. Polartec had the recent pleasure of working with Jake and Burton on the new collection incorporating new Polartec® Power Air™ fabric, the first fabric technology engineered to reduce fiber shedding.
The top, introduced in the Mine77 collection last year, has been updated to include a face-mask / neck-warmer and new Polartec® Power Air™ fabric to become more sustainably produced than ever before. Features of the Power Air Top include underarm venting, chafe-free soft lock seams, removable face-mask magnets to pair with Anon Goggles, and, of course, the fast-drying, highly breathable, odor-repellent Polartec® Power Air™ fabric.
The Power Air Pants were a personal favorite of Jake Burton, having successfully tested them on the coldest days and even warm days without overheating or freezing, a testament to the thermal efficiency of Polartec® Power Air™. The magnetic fly closure is a highlight, along with chafe-free soft lock seams, 360 degree stretch, and, of course, fast-drying, highly breathable, odor-repellent fabric properties.
