Belief is an independent clothing brand and skate shop based in Astoria, Queens, NY. This spring, Belief announces a new partnership with Polartec, introducing a 7-piece collection of apparel and accessories. Belief chose soft, lightweight Polartec premium fleece for its time-tested thermoregulation and durability. Consisting of 1/2 zip and pocket longsleeve tops, pants, caps, neck warmers, blankets and even wallets, the versatile collection is designed for anyone who spends time in the elements, yet light enough to be used indoors as well.
The 1/2 zip tops, pants, and blankets are made of Polartec Classic 200 weight fleece, which is the reference standard for classic fleece. The pocket longsleeve tops, caps, neck warmers and wallets are made of recycled Polartec Classic Micro weight fleece, which features a slightly thinner construction and lower pile.
Because Polartec recycled fleece is made from post-consumer plastic bottles, it reduces waste, uses 50% less water and 25% less energy than non-recycled fleece. This reduces carbon dioxide emissions by 6,500 tons per year.
