LL Bean's Insulated Fleece Jacket is the first of its kind, developed using a new lamination package that sandwiches a synthetic stretch batting core in between two layers of lightweight velour, creating Polartec® Wind Pro® polyester fleece for extra warmth without bulk. The exterior of the Polartec® Wind Pro® fleece sheds precipitation and dries quickly, and the inside features Polartec's patented grid interior that improves wicking and breathability. The Insulated Fleece Jacket is also pieced with highly water repellent and breathable Polartec® Power Shield® soft shell fabric at wear areas for durability and added weather protection. All of these fabrics were thoughtfully combined to create a jacket that's warm enough for winter outerwear, with the quiet and soft performance of fleece.
